Belkin has a new iPhone dock that can move and adjust to follow you on camera. It’s called the Belkin Stand Pro, and it costs $179.99. It looks like it’s the first one to use Apple’s new DockKit framework, which means you don’t need to download any extra apps to connect it to your iPhone.

The Stand Pro has a round base that can spin around, and a motorized arm with MagSafe that can go up and down. You can attach an iPhone 12 or newer to the stand, and pair it with NFC. Then you can use any app with a camera — like FaceTime, Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, or Microsoft Teams — and the dock will move the iPhone to keep you (or whoever you’re filming) in the frame. The Stand Pro can charge your iPhone wirelessly up to 15W when it’s plugged into the USB-C cable and power supply that come with it. You can also use the Stand Pro on battery power, which will last for about five hours. You can switch tracking on or off with the button on the Stand Pro, and the LED light will tell you if it’s on or off.

There are some other motorized stands that are cheaper, and some of them say they use AI to track your movement, but Belkin’s seems to be the first one to work with Apple’s DockKit framework, which could make it easier for other stands to do the same in the future. Belkin also has a new version of its BoostCharge Pro 3-in-1 Magnetic Stand that uses the new Qi2 standard. It’s the same as the old one, but it costs $149.99 and it can charge your phone, Apple Watch Series 7 or later, and wireless earbuds. There’s also a new Qi2-powered BoostCharge Pro Magnetic Power Bank that starts at $39.99 for 5,000mAh.

We’re not sure when the Stand Pro will be out, but you can keep an eye on Belkin’s website for updates.
