Apple’s iCloud cloud storage service is a great way for Mac, iPad and iPhone users to sync and store their photos, documents and anything else, but how do you get more storage than the 2TB max? If 2TB of iCloud Storage costs $30, will 4TB cost $60? We will walk you through the process of taking advantage of a little-known loophole to get 4TB of iCloud Storage for less.

  1. On your iPhone or iPad open the Settings app
  2. Select your account at the very top of the page
  3. Select Subscriptions
  4. Select Get Apple One
  5. Navigate down to the Premier option and select it
  6. If you haven’t used Apple one already, select the Start Free Trial button otherwise confirm you want to subscribe
  7. Now you have 2TB of iCloud Storage with Access to all of Apple’s services like Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple News and Apple Fitness+
  8. Now in order to get an additional 2TB of iCloud storage open the Settings app
  9. Select iCloud
  10. Select Manage Storage
  11. Select Change Storage Plan
  12. Select 2TB
  13. Confirm by selecting Upgrade to iCloud+
  14. Now you have 4TB of iCloud Storage and all Apple One and iCloud+ has to offer for only $40/month
