Apple is rumored to be developing a 15-inch MacBook Air currently expected to launch in 2023 according to a recent Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) report. Traditionally, Apple had only made the MacBook Air in an 11-inch and 13-inch size, with the 11-inch model no longer being produced. If Apple were to release a 15-inch MacBook Air, it would mark the first time the company would release a non-Pro MacBook in that size.

Additionally, the report also suggests that the current 13-inch MacBook Air will receive a design overhaul similar to the renders teased in the past. The design overhaul will reportedly result in a slightly larger footprint for the 2023 MacBook Air.

Apple has been considering a 15-inch MacBook Air variant for some time now, according to the outed emails as part of the Epic Games v. Apple, the company originally considered a 15-inch variant as far back as 2008, when they decided to launch the 13-inch instead. Over the last year we have heard plenty of rumors of this device from folks like Mark Gurman and others. Along with those devices, the SDCC also expects a larger display for the entry-level iPad, confirming our previous reporting about the entry-level iPad getting a redesign.
