Sony has now revealed the design of its next-generation PlayStation VR hardware for which last year it confirmed it would be named VR2.

Following the design language of the PlayStation 5 generation family of devices, the new hardware features a lighter build, a lens adjustment dial, a new vent design, haptic feedback, eye tracking, 4K HDR, 90/120Hz frame rates, foveated rendering, and a wide 110 degrees field of view. The PS VR2 hardware also utilizes tiny PlayStation icons to add texture to the exterior surface and connects to the PS5 with a single USB-C cable.

Additionally, Sony has announced one game being made specifically for the PS VR2 system, Horizon Call of the Mountain, which Sony claims will enable players to have a more immersive experience within the world of Horizon. While currently not much else is known about the headset like price or availability, we will be back to fill our readers in when we know more.
