Samsung announced that as part of a new lineup of smart TV’s revealed at CES 2022, they will feature “access: to Nvidia’s GeForce Now and Google’s Stadia cloud gaming services as a part of its new ‘Samsung Gaming Hub’ that is a home for its current and future gaming apps along with being a hub for consoles too.

The idea that cloud gaming services would someday live right on the smart TV isn’t anything new as we have reported on countless reports, some that include Samsung, explicitly that exact scenario was coming to one day make your console unnecessary. Perhaps the only thing that seemed puzzling fromour perspective was the omission of Microsoft’s Xbox Cloud Gaming service since both Samsung and Microsoft seemed to be walking in lock step the last few years.

Initially both services will be limited to just 1080p but Samsung says they are planning to bring the best experience that each company has to offer to their platform.
