Apple has found much economic success in the iPhone SE and if a recent rumor is to be believed the device could sell for $269 when it ships.

According to MyDrivers trial production for the next iPhone SE is set to begin soon, which precedes mass production. The device will again have the same iPhone 8-based design with the same 4.7-inch display, TouchID enabled home button and 12MP camera. The iPhene SE might look the same as older iPhone designs but it will undoubtedly be getting the latest A15 chip with 5G support with the RAM being increased from 3 to 4GB.

The part that confounds us about MyDriver’s prediction is the $269 price. Currently, the iPhone SE retails for $399, a $130 price drops seems highly unlikely but a drop to somewhere around $379 seems more probable.
