LG announced its first gaming laptop the UltraGear 17G90Q. As its name suggests LG’s first gaming laptop features a 17-inch display and features 11th-generation Intel CPU’s and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Max-Q graphics.
LG has been making PCs for some time now with this model being its first entry into the competitive PC gaming market. Ther closest thing LG ever made to this model was the LG Gram 17 which definitely was not a gaming machine.
The UltraGear 17G90Q features the aforementioned Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 Max-Q graphics card, up to 32GB of RAM and 1 TV of Storage, also equipped with a 1080p IPS display with a 300Hz refresh rate, a 93Qh battery, RGB keyboard, a fingerprint sensor on its power button and a 1080p webcam.
Additionally, the UltraGear 17G90Q s equipped with two USB-C ports, two usb-A ports, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an HMDI port, an Ethernet port, a microSD slot and a DC power port. while details are scarce LG says it will share more with a formal announcement at CES on January 4th, with a market release in the US and South Korea coming in early 2022.
