Logitech has just introduced a svelte work from home solution that combines a conference call speaker and dock into one product. This may be the only work-from-home solution your home office needs and further demonstrates a continued focus on the work from home category.
Logi Dock is capable of connecting up to five USB devices and two monitors simultaneously while charging a laptop with up to 100W on tap. Logi Dock features:
- Six Noise Cancelling Microphones
- Dual Custom 55mm neodymium speaker drivers
- x2 passive radiators for enhanced bass
- x2 USB-A 3.0 ports
- x3 USB-C 3.1 Gen 1 ports
- x1 Display port
- x1 HDMI port
- x1 USB-C upstream
- x1 Kensington lock slot
Logi Dock features integrations with the Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and Zoom along with integrations with calendars. Using the Logi Tune app, users can set up lighting cues for upcoming meetings with its Calendars integration capabilities. Logi Dock features top mount speaker phone buttons like join, mute, disable camera and end the call.
“This is a disruptive, simple, and modern docking solution along with key collaboration features like one-touch-to-join and better mute control,” said Scott Wharton, general manager and vice president of Logitech Video Collaboration. “And not insignificantly, it turns our cluttered ‘rats nest’ of cabling into the elegant workspace we all aspire to have.”
Logi Dock features the all-important noise cancellation when on speakerphone and can switch modes to Zone Wireless Headset or Zone True Wireless earbuds automatically. When not in a meeting you can use Logi Dock as a speaker for music and video with your PC, Mac or wirelessly with your mobile devices. Logi Dock will be available this winter for $399 in either Graphite (Microsoft Teams) or White (Universal).
