Samsung announces Galaxy A52s 5G powered by Snapdragon 778G

Samsung has announced a new more powerful Galaxy A52 5G variant, the Galaxy A52s 5G. So, here’s the list of the changes; it’s a short one, Samsung has upgraded the chipset to the Snapdragon 778G.

Samsung’s Galaxy A series may be the world’s most popular phone series, offering high end looks and tech and a mid-range price. The Galaxy A52s 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 778G, a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED 120Hz display that also features an in0display fingerprint reader. Up front the Galaxy A52s 5G features a centered 32-megapixel hole-punch camera or the rear is a quad camera cluster with a 64-megapixel main sensor with OIS, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide, a 5-megapixel macro lens and a 5-megapixel depth sensor. Keeping the phone powered up all day long is a 4500mAh battery and support for 25W fast charging.

The phone ships with Samsung’s One UI 3 Android 11 experience. The phone will be available to pre-order on August 24th in the UK for £409 with an expected ship date of September 3rd. Market availability will expand to other markets later on, Samsung has made no promises about this device making to North America.
