Edge is Microsoft’s default built-in web browser and while legacy Edge came built into Windows 10, new Edge was not. Starting today Microsoft has listed new Edge in the Microsoft Store.
The apps source is a little odd, in that the developer is “Microsoft Corporation II” and Microsoft hasn’t ever listed its browser in its app store. You can’t even uninstall Edge in Windows 10 or Windows 11. Ideally, Microsoft would list Edge in the Windows 10 Microsoft Store to encourage people to update from Internet Explorer and Legacy Edge. We will see how long this app remains past today I guess.
