Over the last few years, short form video has become wildly popular, Tik Tok, Instagram Reels, Quibi and others are all getting in on the fun and now the biggest name in user generated content on the web, YouTube is launching its entry called Shorts in 100+ countries.

Google is launching YouTube Shorts in beta to more than 100 countries with the promise of more features coming soon. Now users around the globe can create Shorts of their own, contributing to an ever-growing library of content. YouTube Shorts enables users to create up to 60 second videos, with text, automatic caption support, basic filters, the ability to use any YouTube video as a soundtrack and more.
