Beats have announced their previously leaked Studio Buds today, which marks their second pair of true wireless earbuds.
The Studio Buds include (ANC) active noise cancellation, IPX4 water and sweat resistance all while lasting up to five hours on a single charge. If you leave ANC off, then you can eke out around eight hours according to Beats. Unfortunately, there is no wireless charging for the case, instead it charges over USB-C.
Much to our delight and surprise, Studio Buds support iOS and Android. When pairing with an iPhone or iPad, you get a familiar and easy AirPods-like set-up with control center integration and hands-free “Hey Siri” voice commands. On Android, Studio Buds works with Fast Pair and Google’s Find my Device integration.
Studio Buds feature an all-new acoustic design with 8.2mm drivers with what Beats describes as “outstanding stereo separation and low harmonic distortion across the frequency curve so you hear every note.”
