Epic Games plans to bring the full Rocket League experience to mobile

Rocket League is one of the biggest cross platform competitive games right now and it looks like the list of supported platforms will be growing to include both iOS and Android, based on court docs in the Epic Games v. Apple case. According to the confidential document (below) that was given as part of discovery in the case, Rocket League Next would put a “next-generation client with full game experience across all platforms, including mobile.”

This version of Rocket League would be made available in beta and could be available this quarter. If the ‘Full Game Experience’ does come to mobile we could see it needing a game controller, since touch controls would put the player at a disadvantage.
