Sony looks to adapt PlayStation franchises for mobile

Sony has posted a job on its careers website called “head of Mobile, PlayStation Studios.” The job post goes on to detail how the role needs to “lead all aspects of the expansion of your game development from consoles and PCs to mobile and live services,” with the emphasis on “successfully adapting PlayStation’s most popular franchises for mobile.”

Sony’s post goes on to explain that this position will be a head of the new mobile business unit. There are already a few mobile games from PlayStation Studios like “Run Sackboy! Run!”, “Uncharted: Fortune Hunter” and some PC ports like Horizon: Zero Dawn.”
