How to install Facebook’s new Official Windows app
Facebook recently updated the Facebook (beta) app to a new progressive web app (PWA), but today Facebook has updated the official Facebook App and we will tell you how to get early access. The Facebook (beta) app is the same web app that you can visit from your browser, but this one uses the new Microsoft Edge to run the app.
How to download and install Facebook’s new Windows 10 app
First visit the Microsoft Store link for the Facebook app here. Highlight the URL and copy it.

Second, visit this link to use the online tool that downloads the app of any URL from the Microsoft Store you enter into it.

Third, enter the copied URL into the text field and select the check mark. This will present you with a list of files, select the appxbundle.

Fourth, open the appxbundle you downloaded. The App Installer app will open, select install. After the app installs select launch.

Finally, once you launch the app you will be presented with the opening splash screen.
How to install the web app
If you are using Edge and don’t want to install the official app, select the three dots in the right-hand corner, then select apps, then select install Facebook.

If you are using another Chromium-based browser such as Brave, select the hamburger menu in the top right-hand corner, select More Tools then select Create Shortcut.
