Google says 400 games are in the pipeline for Stadia
The game streaming wars are heating up with Amazon launching the Luna game streaming service joining Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Nvidia’s GeForce Now and Google’s Stadia. In the game streaming business, the major attraction is the on-demand game library. Having all the right games plus a vast library of titles is on every companies’ roadmap.
In an interview with MobileSyrup, Jack Buser Stadia’s Director of Games said the Stadia games roadmap had “about 400 games in development from 200 developers.” Buser didn’t reveal any specific information on any games but said a large amount of them would arrive in 2021 and beyond. Android Police is maintaining a list of 100 current Stadia games plus fifty additional unreleased games.
“Gaming is one of the biggest businesses at Google … Which is why you see us investing so much time and energy to support all these hundreds of developers building all these games. We have a very exciting year ahead of us. And, in fact, we have a very exciting many years ahead of us.”
