Softbank’s ARM Ltd., which designs the ARM instruction set for numerous chip makers like Qualcomm, Samsung, Apple, Microsoft and others is reportedly attracting takeover interest from a number of high-profile suiters.

According to Bloomberg, NVIDIA has made a pass in recent weeks about a takeover deal. The phrase “Blood in the water” comes to mind as other potential bidders could emerge in a takeover bid for what is the most important company in silicon today.
