New Google Android TV dongle leaks

Google looks to be prepping a successor to the Chromecast Ultra.

According to XDA Developers the leaked dongle is said to run Android TV instead of Chromecast. It is also said to be a Nest product.

Google’s upcoming Nest TV dongle is code named “Sabrina” and is ‘Pill’ shaped instead of a circle. It will be available in White, Black and Pink.

We also get a peek at the remote and a refreshed Android TV UI.

XDA took a look at leaked firmware of the new Nest dongle and found that it will support Dolby Vision and Amlogic SoC. The expected price for the new TV dongle is said to be $79 compared to the Chromecast Ultra at $69 or NVIDIA’s Shield TV stick at $149.
