WhatsApp to gain Messenger Rooms integration as Facebook goes after Zoom

WhatsApp the Facebook owned messaging service is now integrating Facebook’s Messenger Rooms right into Group audio calls. Recently WhatsApp also increased the number of participants on a video call up to 8, with their latest move, it is clear now that Facebook is setting their sights on Zoom.

When users receive the next WhatsApp update, users will now be able to launch Messenger rooms from within any groups that are created within WhatsApp or create a room from WhatsApp drop down menu, next to the compose button.
