WhatsApp enables video calls with up to 8 people

WhatsApp the Facebook owned messaging service is now increasing the amount of people that can be included in a single video call.

WhatsApp announced that it will enable 8 people to join a single video call with a new app update. While this is great news for WhatsApp users, Google Duo is still more competitive with a 12 person limit and Apple is even more competitive with a 32 person limit with Group Facetime.

WhatsApp 8 person update is now available for iOS but is not available from the Google Play Store yet.
