Google Play Store is getting a ‘Teacher Approved’ section

Many parents all across the globe have probably downloaded educational apps for their kids to aid in learning at home. The search term they probably used was “teaching”, “learning” and so on. Well now they Google Play Store has made it easier to discover Family friendly, educational apps and games all in one place.

Google said they teamed up with academic experts and teachers across the US to help curate kid-friendly content in the Play Store. Apps are rated on several points such as:

• Age-appropriateness
• Quality of experience
• Enrichment
• Delight

These features will be rolling to users in the U.S. over the next few days, with an expansion to other regions in the coming months.
