Microsoft has been adding Linux right into Windows 10 for a while now with features like the Linux subsystem and publishing many popular apps like the upcoming Edge browser for Linux.

Microsoft is now planning to integrate Linux file access right into the Windows 10 File Explorer.

Pointing out the Linux entry in the File Explorer navigation pane.

Also a part of that integration, you will see the Linux tux (the penguin mascot) icon in the left-hand navigation pane of File Explorer which would provide access to the root file system for any distros that you might install on Windows 10. The integration is available for Windows insiders today.
