Microsoft announces Family Safety App

Microsoft announced Microsoft 365 which is a subscription services for individuals & families. The Family Safety app is a way for parents to keep and eye on their kid’s whereabouts and their digital activity across devices, like phones, PC’s and Xbox consoles.

  • Screen time limits
  • Activity reporting

There is also a screen time feature built in, so parents can track their kid’s screen time.

A useful feature for families with kids that are starting to drive is the ability to track your kid’s speed while they are driving.

Another helpful feature is to have set time limits on a device such as an Xbox, with the ability for your child to request additional time.
