Google Play Movies & TV to add Free Movies & TV

Google is getting ready to add hundreds of free Movies & TV shows by making them Ad-supported.

This comes after Vudu recently added Ad-supported content to its streaming service. Google Play Movies & TV service has traditionally been a digital storefront similar to what iTunes, Vudu, Microsoft Movies & TV and Amazon Prime Video have been for years.

Adding Ad-supported content makes a lot of sense while we all self isolate during life under Corona. XDA recently discovered evidence of this move in an APK teardown of Google Play Movies & TV app.
