Netflix, Prime Video & YouTube to throttle streaming quality in Europe
Streaming services from Netflix, Amazon and Google are lowering the bitrate of their streamign content across Europe due to life under Corona.
With Social Distancing, Self Isolation and Quarantines all over the planet, Europes’s internet bandwidth is seeing congestion. Big Tech company’s Google and Amazon along with Streaming Video Leader Netflix are lowering stream quality to ensure everyone has access to services.
Netflix said “We estimate that this will reduce Netflix traffic on European networks by around 25 percent while also ensuring a good quality service for our members.”
